Members who participated in the May 24 (2009) "Stay Behind Run" pose during a rest stop at Penske Mazda; they didn't make the trip to Texas for Miata World II. Les and Dyanna Smith led 18 vehicles from Mira Mesa to The Old Spaghetti Factory in San Marcos on a route that included Rancho Penasquitos, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Dios Highway, Harmony Road, Elfin Forest Road and Buena Creek Road.
